Ironworkers are an International organization that spans all of the United States along with Canada. Ironworkers are the top dogs in construction and are referred to as the cowboys of the sky, they handle all major building components in construction. Cleveland Ironworkers Local 17 was founded in 1901 and have built iconic landmark structures in Cleveland and all of northeast Ohio, from the terminal tower and other landmark structures like key bank tower to all the bridges that span the Cuyahoga river as well as all 3 major sports complexes. from roller coasters at Cedar Point to the massive Cleveland Clinic campus Ironworkers local 17 has a rich history in building Cleveland and its surrounding cities.
