Ironworkers Local 14 is the Ironworkers union local serving Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. The local is based in Spokane Valley and represents structural, reinforcing, ornamental, and welding ironworkers working on bridges, commercial buildings, industrial plants, dams, and infrastructure projects throughout the region. 

Ironworkers Local 14 wants to hire veterans because the skills learned in the military match the demands of ironworking. Veterans bring discipline, teamwork, leadership, safety awareness, and a strong work ethic to the jobsite. They are used to working in tough conditions, following structure, and staying committed to training, which makes them a great fit for the apprenticeship program and the union brotherhood. 

Right now we do Veteran job fairs and In in contact, with veterans hiring agencies, We are also setting up local Vetetran events. I am part of VFW post 51 here in Spokane, Wa
