What is sheet metal:
The term “sheet metal” refers to any metal that can be formed into flat pieces of varying thicknesses. Using specialized tools, sheetmetal workers cut, roll, bend, and shape these pieces to make a wide variety of objects, like duct work, roof panels, and even decorative art.
We offer trade training in many fields, see below.
Commercial (HVAC) HVAC stands for heating,ventilation, and air conditioning. In this field, you will work on high-volume mechanical systems.
Architectural Sheet Metal Architectural sheet metal is a combination of technical skills and artistry.
Welding Industrial sheet metal workerswork on large scale projects, custom projects or large shop-built modules.
Fabrication Sheet metal workers use a variety of tools and machines to make metal parts or assemble components.
Lagging Metal lagging of mechanical system components includingflat work, round work, pressure vessels and specialty components.
Requirements

Qualified applicants must be:
18 years of age or older
Have a valid State issued ID
Have dependable transportation
High School Diploma (preferred) or GED, and vocational training considered
Drug free
Physically able to bend, lift (50+ pounds) and stand for long periods of time
Work well with others
Use industry related tools and safety products
Authorized to work in the United States
Applications will be accepted on the second Monday of each month at 6735 Whitten Place, Memphis, TN 38133 between the hours of 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
